PMG BUILDING CONTRACTORS

In January 2021 I went about looking for a good. reliable, economically viable building contractor to perform some major refurbishment works to the house we bought in Saxon Way, Bradley Stoke.

There were three final candidates and the decision to go with Paul (PMG Building Contractors) came down to the most professional quotation combined with a general sense they were understanding what I wanted. I was most impressed by the process of quotation with him and the electrician and plumber taking notes as we went around the house assessing what I wanted done. This resulted in a sensible quoted price, with listed details of what is to be included. (It really helped that in the first place I gave a comprehensive bullet-point list, room~ by-room, of what i wanted covered in the quote). The fact that he sub-contracts in skilled professionals for the plumbing and electrical works is even better as it means not only am l getting excellent quality but we know all these items are guaranteed by their specialist qualifications and certificates. This also means that works cracks-on at a good pace with different tradesmen all on the job at the same time most days.

l can also say that Dan who works alongside Paul is just as polite and reliable and willing to do whatever is needed to get things done the way I want it done. Punctuality is excellent, they‘re in at 08h00 every morning and get on with it until late in the day. On occasions they volunteer to come in on weekends as well if some catching-up work is needed.

Site general cleanliness is good — yes things get messy during the week but they are very good at having tidy—ups on and off through the week with the building site left in very good condition at the end of a week, ready for clean commencement the next week.

I am happy to commend PMG Building Contractors to anyone looking for a builder with confidence you will find his work to be of the same good quality and reliability as 1 have found.

Thanks Paul, Dan and all others that have worked on my project. The "proof of the pudding".. .. next time I need to have a house refurbished I won’t hesitate in employing PMG again.
